Being present means living mindfully in the moment, engaging, and being attentive to your surroundings, interactions, feelings and thoughts without getting lost in worries about the past or future. This can be a sign of respect and active listening. These types of little behavioral changes can strengthen your connections and help you stay grounded in the present moment.

At the end of the day, spend a few minutes reflecting on what you accomplished and the challenges you faced during the day. Practice gratitude and be thankful for everything that came your way on the day, because at some point they are all your life experiences, and opportunities to grow. Not only that, this will encourage mindfulness and helps you learn from your experiences, making you more effective moving forward.
